This  a photo of Gay Gauntlet, a MkII Wight as she was around seven years ago, she is now sitting in  my local boatyard  (Landrake Cornwall) looking very neglected and in a sorry state. The boat has been in the yard slowly deteriorating for at least five years. I did hear that the owner had suffered a heart attack around the same time the boat went into the boatyard, and there was talk about planting the boat in a field of a relative. (maybe a joke) If anyone is interested in trying to revive Gay Gauntlet I do have the owners phone number. It is such a shame to see these great boats rotting away.
