Looks like I have a gate valve remaining closed after I cleaned engine raw input strainer on Black magic. Suspect this is a job for lift out but I shall repurpose the cockpit discharge. What are people fitting these days?

the best one to fit is GZR bronze ball valve
if the skin fitting is ok they can be done
In the water in a emergency but not recommended
