Reluctantly selling Vamos as I just don’t have enough time to make good use of her and having not even managed to launch her this year I have decided that it’s time to be realistic and find someone who can make better use of her.
I bought her in 2019 and I’m the 4th owner . She’s always been well looked after and maintained properly . Plenty of documentation and paperwork covering her life . In my ownership I have serviced her every season .. changed all filters and fresh oil - flushed and winterised and then laid up ashore. The fuel tank was removed in 2019 completely cleaned out and reinstalled . 2019 new spray hood by Jeckells. 2021 new forestay and backstay . 2022 all running rigging replaced and stack pack with lazy jacks added . The hull has been polished every season and looks good . Interior is clean and tidy although the wood work is getting a bit tired in places . The engine is the original Volvo MD11C , starts and runs cleanly and has always been totally reliable .. I really couldn’t see any reason to update it, spares still available and I have the original manual . The starboard side rubbing strake is a bit soft on the back in a couple of places but nothing serious , I rub them down and oil them every season and they still look smart . 2023 survey available
It is a really great boat that is so easy to handle and gives the feeling of being safe and sturdy .
Ashore near Blakeney. Norfolk and is freshly antifouled , ready to sail away.. launching or loading on a lorry easily arranged . I have priced her at what I think is a very reasonable price for what she has to offer .
