    I have my mac that needs a new water inlet/filter fitting.the existing is prob the original and the valve will not close.i have no water from exhaust when starting Myanmar 10 and I think perhaps impeller or blocked inlet.is it possible to change impeller with the seized water inlet or is it too dangerous fe flooding if problem develops.any ideas welcome,I have had this problem since 2018 but with my triple bypass and my wife’s death in 2017 not felt like attacking and French engineers never arrived to view and fix.
    Will I have to lift the boat out(300€+)?many thx Dave stubbs

    Hi, I recommend you take the boat out ASAP and fit new bronze seacock skinfitting and straner. I would also do the impeller and pipes and new jubilee clips. Don’t forget you need two jubilee clips on all fittings below the water line.
