Mast replacement Macwester 26

I am renovating the Mac26 … what is the height of the original mast in both the standard and tall design.

I have a 10m mast available to replace the original which was destroyed due to being dropped during lowering! Is that mast too tall and would it raise the c of g too high ?

 

It’s a very good quality mast from a Westerly Griffon which I bought with all sails and rigging

Looking at the drawings and hand written information from Macwester files, the original mast was 29′ 7″
