This year's Macwester AGM with our new Commodore Peter Stebbings was held at the Blundellsands Sailing Club. Thanks to David Blackburn and his club for arranging and providing the food and refreshments. Some of us booked local accomodation and went up Friday night before the Saturday AGM. We joined up to have a delightful evening meal together at Chez Moi.  

The next day's AGM was followed by a guided tour around the historic city of Liverpool before returning for our evening meal at the club. Our enthusiastic 82 year old tour guide had lived in Liverpool all his life. His encylopediac knowledge was amazing and we learned a great deal about the city and its history. Thank you David.  

A good number made the day but those that made the journey up from the 'deep south' were disappointed not to meet a few more of our northern members. Still hopefully more will make next years AGM. The food is always good, the photo competition produces some amazing pictures and we have a great time talking boats and sharing stories.
